Leducate Explains: What is...

We have recently started a new series of articles which seek to explain often complex legal terms so that anyone can understand them.

Our first, Leducate Explains: What is furlough is a good example of the kind of article we are looking for.

Articles should take a strictly explanatory basis, with no bias in the article. These articles are based at a wide audience but should be suitable for 16-18-year-olds without a legal background to understand. The article should not be longer than 1000 words.

Topics that we’re interested in are:

  • Areas of law - for example, ‘What is commercial law?’

  • Current news topics - for example, furloughing, Brexit

  • Summary of recent judgements - for example, how does a recent decision impact on current case law?

  • Others that you think would be interesting

If you have a particular area you’d like to draft a Leducate Explains article about, then let us know below! If you would be happy to write an article, but don’t know what you’d like to write about, then let us know and it might be the case that we can suggest something for you to write about.
