Olivia English is the Trustee Secretary and Compliance Officer for Leducate.
Olivia completed her law degree at the University of Nottingham, where she participated in pro bono volunteering projects. These included devising and teaching human rights-related courses to sixth form students in both Nottingham and Ghana.
Olivia spent a year working as a Casework Assistant at Amicus, the fair trials charity. There, she helped to progress a large casework project, as well as undertaking some of the charity’s administrative tasks, fundraising and event organisation.
Olivia completed an LLM in Human Rights Law at Queen Mary, University of London, and the Bar Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy. Olivia is currently a Research Assistant at the Law Commission, working on criminal law reform projects. In Autumn 2022, Olivia will begin pupillage, the training to become a barrister, at a specialist criminal law set of chambers in London.
